ABOUT NORIA

Noria Chaal, a dynamic filmmaker and producer, graduated from Université Lumière Lyon 2, specializing in Cinema Editing. Her diverse filmmaking journey, evolving from music videos to immersive narratives, was ignited during her transformative filming venture in Morocco. Passionate about cultural equity, heritage preservation, and challenging societal matters, Noria delves into her heritage to drive social impact and empower women. With a wide-ranging network and a vision to amplify underrepresented voices, Noria aims to capture the evolving tapestry of global narratives and societal transformations.

Air Transat ‘Pourquoi Voyager’

This short docu-commercial follows the inspiring journey of Tamy Emma Pepin, a Quebec-born producer and entrepreneur who is now bridging cultures between Montreal and Morocco. I directed, coordinated, scouted, edited, and color-graded this piece to showcase the launch of Air Transat’s new direct route between these two vibrant destinations: Montreal - Marrakech. Through Tamy's story, we explore the connections and opportunities that this new route brings.

New campaign for Puma Football and Daily Paper co-founder Abderrahmane Trabsini. Shot this November 2024 in Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam, Marrakech and the Moroccan Mountains, where unity comes forward. Where borders vanish as soon as the national anthem sounds. It’s about maintaining cultural ties through local Moroccans and those in the diaspora.

Taragalte Festival Under The Stars 2018

The Taragalte Festival celebrates the nomadic culture and music of the Sahara Desert. It includes three days of music, art, and dance under the stars. The festival happens in M'Hamid El Ghizlane, in south Morocco, and welcomes musical groups and artists from Algeria, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, and Senegal.
